The Twenty6 products are definitely nice. Hopefully they feel as nice as they look. If you're looking for a cheaper pedal than the Twenty6, take a look at the Atomlab Aircorps (nutted version, not the circlip version). They are slim and feel excellent. Sounds like you had a good ride. I won;t be able to ride till Mayish. I need to move so I can ride year round.

The Holidays went well, hope yours did too. Tech documents, other riders, own experience, people in the business, etc....

Damn you on mentioning how nice it is in Cali. There's a few few of snow on the ground here. I need to move somewhere warmer. The 1x9 works great in my area. Some climbs are steep and technical with rocks/roots but they are doable with some practise. I'm running a 32t 11-34t gearing which has worked well this past season on the Nomad. I have used a 34t and a 36t before but have found some climbs a bit too hard. I have yet to set up the F1s on the V10 and test them out but I have setup a few on some friends rides and I liked them once after a good bleed. I find them similar to my Elixir CRs in terms of modulation but they do have a bit more power. I have the "old" ones as they have been redesigned for 2010. If I end up not liking them I will more than likely grab a set of Elixirs.

It has been in the works since spring due to delays. The frame was in early but the fork was on backorder from SC. Hopefully it's because they updated the rebound damper and top out spring. I'll have to open it up to see. The 37 lbs is an estimate of everything I have weighed and a few claimed weights. The final build should be pretty close. The frame is decently light and will shed a few more grams once I get the spring rate sorted and go Ti. The wheelset, stem, and pedals should be in sometime in Jan/Feb.

Sounds awesome! I'm a 1x9 fan myself but have always been interested in the HS. Sounds like your Nomad is gonna be pretty sick with the new additions. I too got a great deal on mine and love it. It does sound like you have the MKII (aka Mark 2 or Nomad2)

How are you liking the HS on the Nomad? Is it a MKI or MKII?

Thanks. SC and myself feel that it was a faulty link since it happened landing on a smooth tranny. I'm still waiting to hear confirmation from them though. I've had the Totem on my Demo since 2007 at which time I removed the floodgate and it has been flawless ever since. It's plush and stays high in the travel where I like. The Lyrik on the Nomad is the same with the same mod.
